Guinomi and Sakazuki sake cups

"Guinomi" and "Sakazuki" are both types of traditional Japanese cups used for drinking sake, but they have distinct characteristics:

Guinomi: This is a small cup used for drinking sake. Guinomi are typically larger than sakazuki cups and are often used for more casual drinking. They can come in various shapes and designs and are usually made of ceramic or porcelain.

Sakazuki: This is a very shallow, saucer-like cup used for sake. Sakazuki cups are often used in formal ceremonies, such as Shinto rituals and traditional Japanese weddings. They are usually smaller than guinomi and can be made of various materials, including lacquerware, porcelain, and metal.

In essence, both guinomi and sakazuki are sake cups, but they differ in size, shape, and the contexts in which they are typically used.
