China

Nation, First united by the First Emperor of Qin (China) - Qin Shi Huang Di during the Qin dynasty. Nowadays the name is The Peoples Republic of China shortened PROC. Also the word used to denote porcelain - China - taken from the name of the country of its origin. Chinese "porcelain" when exported to the West was thus very early termed "china ware".
