Barely fourteen days after departure, she struck a rock off the Norwegian coast, near Långsund. Repaired there for just over 40,000 dal smt and received new rigging. The insurers covered a quarter of the cost. On the invested capital of 731,121 dal smt, a dividend of 105% was paid. Additionally, a reserve fund of 167,863 dal smt was set aside.
