THE OBJECT WAS TO KEEP COST AT A MINIMUM,AND STILL TAKE GREAT PICTURES WORTHY OF POSTING ON GOTHEBORG. YOU CAN DO THIS FOR AROUND 45.00 DOLLARS,IF YOU ARE HANDY.LIST OF ITEMS: 2 CLIP ON REFLECTORS,2 DAYLIGHT 100 WATT FLORESCENT BULBS,BUNDLE OF 1X2X 48" STAKES,AND WHITE CLOTH.(I USED FIBERGLASS CLOTH ONLY BECAUSE I HAD IT).IT MAY NOT LOOK PRETTY,BUT IT WORKS,SEE RESULTS. WORKS.

Dear Carmine, It is a great set up which I also used. I normally use a Canon 7D but keep a Canon G12 on hand when I go out hunting. The G 12 is a hybrid point and shoot with the settings of a dslr. I found out that the G12 is so versatile even under extreme low light condition but with a good Tripod and a gray cloth I can actually take very good pictures. It is very easy to use in museums where flash photography is not allowed (and easy to conceal). I made a very good decision buying the G12 over the Sony Alpha 5 which has interchangeable lens. You have a very good set up Carmine and appreciate your sharing this with the forum. Warm Regards, Stevenson |

As an aside,I used plain white wrapping paper that I purposely crumbled so that it could be distinguished from a white item being photographed.I guess a neutral gray background would be better, but that would add another 5.00 to the cost.My goal was to use as many materials found in the home as possible. |
